Fantastic, easy-drinking and affordable Junmai sake from the Makers of Masumi. For the price, a superior bargain for the quality. Nice lower alcohol percentage helps the fun last a little longer!

Tried at Kish in Echo Park, LA May 2015. Really enjoyed it’s subtle sweetness. Want to purchase a bottle.

Miyasaka みやさか 純米 is a mild, affordable junmai with a seimaibuai 精米歩合 (polishing rate) of 55%. It is brewed in Nagano a bus red away from Tokyo. When I visited the brewery in Feb 2014 I was impressed with the entire operation. It was nice to meet Keith Norem (from California) who was our host for the day. Miyasaka is very easy to drink. It has a low level of alcohol at 12.3%. This would be a great introductory sake. Enjoy this one in the evening with dinner or on the back deck with cheese and crackers. I guarantee Miyasaka will please almost everyone without putting you in the poor house. My complimented to all the kurabito 蔵人 who contributed to this wonderful, enjoyable Nihonshu 日本酒.
Bottoms up. Empty your ochoko お猪口 (sake cup). Kanpai. 乾杯
