A very enjoyable dry sake from Tengumai. Full expansive flavor with a great body and enjoyable mouth feel. Light umami on the palate. this is a wonderful sake to pair with food.
I love this type of full bodied sweetness of rice yet not very aromatic sake. It is pretty well designed to enjoy with food yet very reasonable price. The name (uma(i)=tasty, jun=rich, full bodied) really is. Best sake available in US (for me). I hope Sakaya or Mitsuwa restock this soon.
