Sake 101: Sake Classifications

This is another video in the “Sake 101″ series which explains the 6 major classifications of sake. These different categories can effect both price and taste of your sake, so it’s worth learning about. I hope you find this useful and informative. Once you know these basics, you’ll be honjozo-ing with the best of ‘em.

Your video cast is really great! It is really amazing how these are put together so well. I love your “filming” studio with sake boxes

Why do I feel like there should have been a Brady Bunch theme song rewritten for this lesson? (Here’s a story. Of a lovely sake. Who was milled to more than 60 percent….)

But where’s our handsome host in this episode?? Enjoyed it, especially the reappearance of our smiling Koji friend!

While waiting for a flight once in the transit lounge in Tokyo’s Narita airport, a fellow passenger suggested I try a sake whose name translated meant “breath of the dragon”.

What should I ask for to locate this sake?
