This year World Sake Day 2020 will be celebrated online! Join the American Sake Association and esteemed members of the sake community as we gather virtually this year to study, explore, enjoy and KANPAI together!
Our online “Sake Day USA” gathering will run from 3pm – 10pm ET on Oct 1st and feature a diverse schedule of sake tastings, seminars, cooking demonstrations, and other fun presentations that will bring the world of sake to you this year! Welcome and Greeting to Sake Day USA 2020! We’ll have special guests and a virtual Kagami Biraki! Kick off your day with us!

While most of us have become better home cooks during this pandemic, there is no true replacement for a restaurant experience, and the eye-opening food and sake pairings dreamed up by some of the country’s most talented chefs and sommeliers. Inspired by that experience we are all missing, Monica Samuels and Tamiko Ishidate are here to explore the science behind matching food and sake, inspired by the building blocks of salt, fat, acid, and umami. We hope you can join us – it might just take your home drinking and dining to the next level. Featured Sakes:
