Spring! There is nothing that heralds the arrival of Spring like cherry blossoms and nama sake. Nama, or arabashiri sake is a special kind of sake released each Spring in Japan, to celebrate the changing season. The unpasteurized sakes are flamboyantly aromatic, with a range of flavors between opulent and ethereal. If you’ve never tasted a nama sake, we’re here to help. Keiko Sato of World Sake Imports returns to the the Salon to showcase the latest nama sake releases from her portfolio. Sakes will include Masumi’s ever popular Arabashiri, Tedorigawa’s limited Kinka Nama Daiginjo, and the decadent Dewasansan Nama Genshu from Dewazakura. All of the featured bottlings will be discounted for the day.
