Dogenzaka Suyama Building B1F, 2-10-12 Dogenzaka Shibuya Tokyo
東京都 渋谷区 道玄坂 2-10-12 道玄坂スヤマビル B1F
Short walk from Shibuya crossing, this is one of the best sake spots in the area. It is really hard to find, and located in a basement. However, you will know you’ve found the right place when you get down the stairs and enter through the little 1/2 size door… yes kind of like for a leprechaun. once through the tiny door, as elegantly as possible, you’ll find a fun, bustling sake izakaya. They have a huge and overwhelming sake list, but don’t despair, the staff are all sake geeks and can recommend something yummy. Food is a great support for the sake. No English menu.
Wonderfully large sake menu! so much to chose from, it will explode your brain. This place has been bustling and busy every time I go, but that is kinda what you want in your Izakaya. Kind of hidden location, so bring your google maps! I always try and visit this place when in Tokyo.
