I agree with Sake Guru Timothy Sullivan. This nigori にごりfrom Saiya Shuzo brewery in mountainous Akita uses Gin No Sei rice with a seimaibuai 精米歩合 (polishing rate) of 50% and a Nihonshudo 日本酒度 (dry-sweet sake meter value) of +1.0. It is classified as a Junmai Ginjo. The percentage by volume of alcohol アルコール is 16.5%. The sando 酸度 (acidity) is relatively high for sake at 1.9. I found it has a pleasant, thick, creamy mouth feel. Yuki no Bosha is not as heavy as Shichihon Yari Nigori which leaves your empty glass coated with milky lees. Both are very good tasting though. I have also purchased the “same” Yuki no Bosha nigori in 720ml bottles. But be aware that the 720ml bottle is a “usu” or light nigori. That is, the 300ml bottle has more sake lees suspended in the brew. The taste and mouth feel are quite different. Some may prefer one over the other; my favorite is the smaller 300ml bottle pictured here. This nigori is exceptionally good. It is very easy to drink. And the square bottles store well in the refrigerator. The portion size is ideal. In fact, I use the empty bottles for my home brewed green tea -very portable, great with lunch. I highly recommend this nigori. 乾杯
