The American Sake Association is hosting a Sake Social this Sunday! Thank you to everyone who attended last week! Our guest, Shinobu Kato, took us on a tour of his micro-brewery in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Did you miss it or wish you could see it again? Well, you can! This coming Sunday we have another great sake-centric event planned for you. We are happy to announce our next VIP sake guest scheduled for this event: YOU! Join us for our first interactive ASA Sake Roundtable! We’ll have an agenda of fun sake topics and invite you to join us and share your input with us live on camera. here is our agenda:

1) Sake and food pairing session! We’ll start out by sharing our favorite sake and food pairings live on camera, and we invite you to do the same! Have your sake and food prepared, and we’ll invite you on camera to introduce your pairing and tell us what you like best. We can talk about it with as many of you as time allows. What will you prepare for Sunday night?!

2) The Great Sake Cocktail Debate: What do YOU think about sake cocktails, Yea? or Nay? we’ll have voices from all over the spectrum to speak for and against sake cocktail culture. Do you think sake cocktails help the sake industry? Or hurt sake culture? do you drink sakura martinis yourself? Or do you recommend them to others? Or is a sake cocktail sacrilege for you? Let’s have a fun and friendly debate on the subject! Can’t wait to hear your opinion!

3) Sake Game Show: Password! How well do you know your sake vocabulary? who wants to play “Sake Password” with us live on camera? Password is the game where you try to guess the secret word by being given only one-word clues. It is a lot of fun and we’ll explain the rules on air to anyone who wants to play along! It will be an exciting and laughter-filled way to round out our sake roundtable!
