Guided Brewery Tour and Sake Tasting

Welcome to Brooklyn Kura! Join us for a tour of our state-of-the-art sake brewery in Industry City, Brooklyn. See first hand how we turn rice and water into delicious Brooklyn-made premium craft sake. Led by our expert brewery staff, this experience will walk you through our production facility and allow you to take in the sights, sounds and delicious smells of New York’s premier sake brewery. The tour concludes in our taproom where we will lead you a guided tasting flight of 3 kinds of Brooklyn Kura and introduce you to the nuance and variety of our award-winning sake. A: We can’t guarantee you’ll see our brewers at work during all of our tours. Lots of active sake brewing work (rice steaming, koji making etc) generally takes place in the morning hours. Our tours are intended to be a facility walk through, and include a detailed explanation of the brewing process from our sake-expert staff, who will guide your tour. Q: How much sake will we taste? A: We will offer you a tasting pour of 3 kinds of Brooklyn Kura sake from our current line up, which our staff will explain to you in detail. After your guided tasting, you can order additional sake by glass or carafe for an additional charge from the taproom bar. Bottles of Brooklyn Kura sake are also available for purchase to take home. Q: Is food included? A: For our Brewery Tour and Tasting experience, food is not included. If you’d like, you can order food from our taproom food menu for an additional charge.
